How Do I Join?

Our organization is open to all persons with an interest in the American Civil War, either as a military or civilian reenactor/living historians; provided, that they have never been convicted of any infamous or heinous crime. And for any person under the age of eighteen (18) looking to join they will require the consent of their parents or guardian.

Persons interested or new recruits, are asked to attend three (3) battle reenactments with us before officially requesting an application for membership. These three (3) events allow you to get to know us and ensure that we are a good fit for you, and it gives us a chance to get to know you and make sure you are a good fit for us as well. After these three (3) events if you still wish to join us, you can request an application from the Company Commander or Clerk.

If you are interested in getting into reenacting visit the various pages of this website, find us on Facebook or message us directly for more information about the company, events or any other questions that you may have. What Do I Need?

For new recruits looking to come out for their first time, the company does have a supply of loaner uniforms and equipment available to help you as you start into the hobby. After you start there is an expectation that new recruits will begin to obtain their own equipment within a reasonable amount of time, for example your basic uniform (clothing) should be obtained within your first year.

To help new recruits start into the hobby we have created a "What to Get and Where to Get it" section on this website that outlines the most basic of equipment to help new recruits get started into the world of reenacting. Additional information on food stuffs for those getting started will be found in the Commissary section, on the historic uniforms and equipment is in the Quartermaster section, and on weapons and ammunition in the Ordnance section.
