January to February 1865 - Rhett's Brigade, Taliaferro's Division, Department of South Carolina, Georgia & Florida
March to April 1865 - Logan's Brigade, Butler's Division, Hampton's Command, Department of South Carolina, Georgia & Florida
April to May 1865 - Logan's Brigade, Butler's Division, Hampton's Cavalry Corps, Army of Tennessee
December 20th, 1864: The battalion is organized with five (5) independent companies of South Carolina Cavalry as the Nineteenth (19th) South Carolina Volunteer Cavalry Battalion, under the command of Major William L. Trenholm. Being a consolidation of two companies of Kirk's Squadron of South Carolina Partisan Rangers, Keitt's Company of Mounted Riflemen, Company B of Boykin's Squadron of Mounted Rifles, and the Ripley Rangers.
January to May 1865: Served in the Carolina's Campaign.
February 22nd, 1865: Earle's Independent Company and Fair's Company (Company F of the 8th South Carolina Reserve Battalion) are attached to the Battalion.
April 26th, 1865: The battalion is surrendered with the Army of Tennessee at Durham Station, North Carolina.
